I prefer berry colours to red like MACs rebel lipstick, my only red is MAC viva glam 1 a brick red with plummy undertones LOVE IT!
I use to be terrified of red...it never ever suited me.
Now I wear it all the time and cannot get enough of red.
Perhaps try Mac's Dubonnet? It's a subtle berryish red :)
